Helping Your Clients Create and Measure their Philanthropic Impact

Thursday, December 7, 2017
12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

500 Newport Center Drive, Ste. 300, Newport Beach

This roundtable discussion will cover a four-step approach in helping your clients pursue their philanthropic vision.  We will also discuss how to best document their vision, and review key questions to ask in helping them formulate their philanthropic mission statement.  Lastly, we will review best practices in impact discussions with nonprofits and how to incorporate into the family mission statement review process. This event will be jointly hosted by Maria Kutscher of U.S. Trust and Patti Heaton Parker of Discovery Financial.

Maria Kutscher, CFA, CFP, has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years.  She provides comprehensive wealth management planning and consultation to high net worth individuals, families and business owners, and also represents U.S. Trust’s suite of philanthropic consulting and advisory services to nonprofit organizations.

Patricia Heaton Parker, CFP, CEP, CDFA,  has been an active member of the Financial Planning Industry for over 20 years. She founded her firm, Discovery Financial, to service the needs of clients going through transition.

Thanks to the sponsorship and location, there is no cost to attend this event. Registration is limited to 12 people. As a current member, we encourage you to bring one guest who you feel would benefit from this topic and might be interested in joining OC AiP.
